A new downtown Atlanta business is now open
A classic place for lunch, a favorite bar with iconic views, your morning coffee spot - Downtown Atlanta has it all. This month, we wanted to spotlight some new faces in the neighborhood. DOS BOCAS
A new restaurant in Downtown's Centennial Park District replaces Legal Sea Foods in the Hilton Garden Inn. Providing a creative blend of Cajun and Tex-Mex cuisine, it is a restaurant that translates as "two mouths". Check out the menu here.
BIG DAVE'S CHEESESTEAKS
A former gas station in Dunwoody, Big Dave's has since expanded to two brick-and-mortar stores in Doraville and Downtown Atlanta's Healey Building. You can even order egg rolls and wings here, as well as a classic cheesesteak, Philly fries, and even Philly onion rings. Check out the menu here.
THE PANTRY & PROVISIONS
The Pantry serves grab-and-go gourmet sandwiches and has a bodega-style market for ingredients and items you can take home. The Pantry can be found in the Healey's lobby behind Cafe Lucia. Check out the menu here.
OLE RELIABLE
On the ground floor of Georgia-Pacific Center, Ole Reliable is a breakfast and lunch pop-up restaurant from Red Beard Restaurants. In addition to coffee, soups, and salads, you'll find sumptuous toasts and hot sandwiches here. Drool over menu items here.
The Hyatt Place Atlanta / Centenary Park
Located on Luckie Street just blocks from Atlanta Aquarium, Hyatt Place is one of Downtown's most recent hotels. It is pet-friendly, boasts a fitness center, and is close to Centennial Park District attractions and restaurants, making it the perfect place to stay for city visitors or staycations. Hotel Candler & By George now open
This 17-story high-rise was originally built by Coca-Cola magnate Asa Griggs Candler in 1906 and is now home to a 265-room boutique hotel. With Chef Hugh Acheson as its chef, By George serves traditional French cuisine predominantly on the ground floor. The property has been lovingly restored and is sure to dazzle you when you step inside.
