The Arts & Entertainment Atlanta Grant Program is now available
AEA Announces Grant Program
The Downtown Atlanta Arts & Entertainment Project (AE Atlanta) is an economic development and neighborhood activation initiative. Through the program, new outdoor media, local art, and advertising are incorporated with cultural and public space programming throughout the city. In capturing light, vitality, and activity, A&E Atlanta represents Atlanta as a whole in a unique way.
Artists and arts organizations activating projects in Downtown Atlanta will be able to apply for grants through Arts & Entertainment Atlanta. We will award grants in the range of $500 - $1000.
Application opens: Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9:00am EST
Please submit your application by Friday, September 11, 2020 at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time
Artists and organizations will receive funds for general operations and / or projects occurring before May 3, 2021 during this first grant cycle.
Grant Guidelines:
To receive funding, artists and organizations must prove their commitment to Downtown Atlanta's arts and culture scene.
An artist may apply for funding based on a project.
A project-based or general operations grant can be applied for by organizations.
It is strongly preferred that the projects funded by this grant take place in the Arts & Entertainment Atlanta district (see map below). A letter from a property manager or partnering organization, confirming location, will be required if selected for the grant.
In order to receive funds for general operating costs, organizations must be located in the district or have a demonstrated commitment to the district. (see district map)
A&E logos are required on sponsor pages of websites, onsite (sponsor walls, windows), and any collateral associated with grants.
